OPIA / (o-pia) (n) The ambiguous intensity of looking someone in the eye. When you stare at something, you mean that you desire it, like the first sight that you can see when you look up at the Mykonian sky.
In 2022, OPIA Mykonos opened its eyes to the world. Graciously placed in idyllic west-facing orientation and wonderfully nestled in an absolute panoramic position. The sapphire-colored sea of the Mediterranean in front, the rocky-land behind, a stack of white houses and bougainvillea trees: even on a busy day, this picture floats somewhere in the middle distance, like a film projected on mist.
